  • Yonezu's [kick back] overcomes the points in J01's Mary poppins (Week 42/52) Japan billboard top

Japan billboards report said ""KICK BACK" was a fierce battle driven by download and streaming, and "SuperCali" was driven by single points. " The new music from the TV animation "Chainsaw Man" opening theme is played by Kenshin Yonezu, consider one of the main singers for the Japanese Pop culture. The music name KICK BACK gain the leader position at the billboard Hot 100 by accumulating points as the leader of the downloads and views. Here are a bit of the lyrics : "Bye-bye with this for stubborn oil stains Who is the voice calling out in my head I want that I want this I'm singing Want to be happy I want to enjoy my life I want to hold it in my hand in your chest fill me with happiness Let's go to rest in peace The hell I once saw is also a good place" For more information about Kenshin Yonezu, check out the post " Lemon (Kenshi Yonezu)- The longest remaining song on Billboard Japan Hot100 charts" Kenshin Yonezu - Kick Back - My Personal Japanese music review: I personally dont like the music. It's to fast beat for me ! But if you enjoy it let me know on comments! The reason I dont like it, its because I can not really dance with it . I can not feel anything for the music. Jumping to number 2 on the Billboard we have J01 with [SuperCali] as in "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious" ... yeah you read that right,Mary Poppins's "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious"!!! They basically made a concept around Mary Poppins, However I found it to be a little bit more Spooky. J01 were very close to achieve the leader position by 30 points. Due to the conquest of 4 crowns as the leader in Singles, Lookup , Twitter and Radio. J01 are an eleven-member Japanese boy group formed by the top contestants of the programme Produce 101 Japan, owned by LAPONE ENTERTAINMENT. Their first single, 'PROTOSTAR', was released on March 4th, 2020. The MTV VMA Japan awarded J01 the "star on the rise" award in 2020. JO1 OFFICIAL Social: [website ] https://jo1.jp [Twitter] https://twitter.com/official_jo1 [Instagram] http://instagram.com/official_JO1 Here is a bit of the Lyrics: "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious Forget the mirage of the past Woo A desolate desert Even if it swirls, it's a sandstorm (Danm) Even if you can't see it, it's a milestone (Yeah yeah) I know I can find the way Up and down (hey) prowling sun (hey) Ore wo always (woo) why?" My personal review to J01 ' supercali' : Of course, this is a more modern perspective of the Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious! For the concept, I was expecting a little more narrative in the music video ! Also they lost their smile, in spite of more hair colors! • It's a [Be selfish] thats coming close to the [one piece] week 33/52 - Japan music charts

The music of the charismatic Uta with Ado's voice is starting to lose leverage and point's. This week, the number of points that kept them in the leader position decreased around 1000 points. Has Star Uta stopped shining ✨️? It might lose the leader position by the end of October. Uta’s Song is dominating the first spot on the number of streams , Youtube video views in Japan and Karaoke music selection. It did not dominate the number of downloads ( 3rd place), the number of broadcasts in Radios( 18th place) and twitter ( 49th place). The second leader position was taken by a new single "Be Selfish" by [=LOVE]. This Single is their twelve. In numerology terms, It means they may have completed a cycle , or the next one, may have an unlucky result or the biggest result ever. The number 13 is a mystery by itself, we have to stand by and watch their future performances. "Be Selfish" dominated the top single with the 1st place, which can give a lot of points to the artist, or group, when entering in the chart. Short version of the Lyrics translated: “Stop asking for love, and let me pick one out of my troubles. I want you to go on as you are I want you to live as you are I'm just being selfish with only your favourite colour I won't let anyone get in my way” ----- Don’t forget to check out the top 10 at the end of this post! Personal Japan Billboard review: I love seeing the Alice in wonderland adaptation in a modern context. It's very innovative! Despite being organised and managed by a former member of AKB48, I must say it was very smart not keeping the same size and structure. And the image of the girls seems more individual than in a group formation, which is even better because it demonstrates they all have different personalities. As for the music, it's a modern and more remixed version of Typical Japanese music. I look at them as fresh and inspiration for the future of Japanese pop music! I am surprised the Japan billboard reports barely mention them… is it on purpose or accident? Who is [=LOVE]? The twelve-person group =Love (イコールラブ Ikōrurabu, pronounced "equal love", stylized as =LOVE) is produced by former AKB48 and HKT48 member Rino Sashihara and is signed under Sacra Music. The group comprises voice actors from the Yoyogi Animation Academy and is known for their positive and upbeat music. • Let's see [One Piece] of the Japan music Charts - (week 39/52) Japan Billboard review

It's a very huge performance on Japan Billboard! Japan music Charts have been dominated by One Piece anime movie - One Piece Film: Red - since its release in August, in Japan. But this show has a lot more to go on as the releases still happen around the word. The production, organization and distribution is being done by Toei Company Ltd. . The major impact songs are played by Ado. In Total, the soundtrack album of the film has 7 sounds played by Ado, occupying the Japan Hot 100 of this week. The Top leading song is [New Era] ( 新時代 ). “New Era” is still number one in streaming, video, and karaoke, with a total of 7 streaming, 5 video, and 4 karaoke hits. It’s especially popular in streaming, where it’s been played 11,939,263 times this week. That’s about 3 million times more than "I am the strongest" in second place on the same Chart. The radio Chart also shot up from 12th place last week to 5th place this week, so it looks like they’ll be staying in the top spot for a while. For the ones that don’t know, What is One Piece: Uta is the most beloved singer in the world, and she's about to reveal her identity to the world for the first time at a live concert. Renowned for concealing her own identity when performing, her voice has come to be described as "otherworldly." As the venue fills with all kinds of Uta fans—excited pirates, the Navy watching closely, and the Straw Hats led by Luffy who simply came to enjoy her sonorous performance—the voice that the whole world has been waiting for is about to resound. The story begins with a shocking fact when Luffy reveals that she is Red-Haired Shanks' "daughter" and his childhood friend. Official website : https://www.onepiece-film.jp/uta/ Official music video: [New Era] ( 新時代 ). - (Uta from ONE PIECE FILM RED) - Ado A little of the lyrics: “The new era is this future If we change the whole world, if we change Eliminate the annoying things Let's metamorphose with this world Music, the magic you make If I close my eyes, the future opens So that the end never comes i will sing this song Do you wanna play?” Personal Japan billboard Review: The music is Catchy! However, I get the feeling it has more modern rhythm but doesn’t have a real value! It makes me wonder, If One Piece wasn’t one of the favourite Anime and Manga to do cosplay around the world, Would the songs have so much hit since the movie release?! And one thing visible on Japan Billboard is the fluctuation and the influence Pop Culture has in its music. Sometimes end up staying for 3 months on Chart. ----- Don’t forget to check out the top 10 at the end of this post! Who are Ado ? Recently, singer "Ado" has gained a lot of followers on YouTube and Twitter. Its identity is shrouded in secrecy, but its incredible singing ability and stage presence has generated a lot of interest. In particular, the songs produced by famous Vocaloid P have seen a surge in viewership. • Culture in Japan

Japan's culture is extremely deep in nature as it also dates back to the year 2500 BC and over the time span of it's life as a country spanning many islands Japan has gone through a lot of time periods even being influenced by China's culture when some of the chinese writing and characters were introduced to the Japanese. The Japanese since then has been deeply involved with their culture and their traditions where in cities such as Kyoto where you can for a substantial price drink with a Geisha or as they are called more commonly now Geiko in a bar or more commonly traditional teahouses around the city. As we go further into the culture of Japan it would be ill mannered if we were not to mention the Samurai and their effect on the current culture outlook of the Japanese as they helped establish the culture of Japan. The samurai were the original warrior class of the Japanese people especially around the medieval and the edo period of Japan's history, even through the Samurai are no longer exist in the same manner as they did during those time the art of bushido, "the way of the warrior" still exists in deep in the culture of respect in Japan.

  • Mr. Housekeeper has a theme song - Japan Billboard (week 22/52) Japan Music charts review

From the Japanese Drama「Mr. Housekeeper, Mitazono (Kaseifu no Mitazono) season 5」, the theme song “a r e a “played by Hey! Say! JUMP is the new Japan billboard hot 100 leader. The original plot from the drama: Mitazono Kaoru is a housekeeper who excels at his job, impressing both his clients and boss. However, what they don't know is that Mitazono is using his position to learn all the family's secrets. He then uses this information to break up relationships and tear the family apart. While this may seem cold, it's the push the family needs to start fresh and solve their underlying problems. “Hey! Say! JUMP's first triple A-side single title song "area" sold 232,265 copies in the first week and was number one in the single and number one in the lookup. Other indicators were 16th on Twitter and 100th on the radio, with physical points as the main axis and taking the lead overall. The first week sales of the previous work "Sing-along" was 200,355, and this time it is about 30,000 more.” Billboard Japan Official music video: Hey! Say! JUMP - a r e a A little of the lyrics: “I can't hide my confusion, I can't hide my feelings of leaning, and I can't escape from the ideals created by the times. Fragments of contradiction (you) Don't pick it up anymore (more) Just go on the path you've decided on Even in the headwind If you turn around in this changing world, you should be able to see the tears shed by a small, closed area ...” Personal Japan billboard Review: I wish I could say I enjoy it, But I didn’t! Video and music seem too generic and there is a lack of feeling storytelling behind the concept of this music. There is almost no dance. The only movement most do is touch the head or facial and slowly point to the camera. In 2 words: too format. There is no identity visible. Unlike previous works this year. This is the worst! Like they were forced to do it. In my opinion would have been better with more remix … maybe! All I know I felt nothing in the song. I feel there will be at least 20 positions to fall next week. Or in other words a big free fall! ----- Don’t forget to check out the top 10 at the end of this post! Who are Hey! Say! JUMP? Like many coming from Jstorm, they do not have any information on their group page and even the group page doesn’t have their own domain. Hey! Say! JUMP is an eight-member Japanese boy band under the Japanese talent agency Johnny & Associates. The group is split into two sub-groups: Hey! Say! BEST and Hey! Say! 7. In Japan they sold more than 10 million physical copies. During a KAT-TUN spring concert on April 3, 2007, Yuya Takaki, Daiki Arioka, Ryosuke Yamada, Yuto Nakajima and Yuri Chinen were announced to become part of a temporary group called Hey! Say! 7. The name refers to the Heisei period during which all members were born, as well as to the year 2007 as the group's formation year. On September 24, the five members of Hey! Say! 7 were joined by Kota Yabu, Kei Inoo, Hikaru Yaotome, Keito Okamoto and Ryutaro Morimoto, all represented by Johnny's Jr's. The ten-member group was organized into two sub-groups of five, with the older members forming Hey! Say! BEST and the younger members in Hey! Say! 7 Hey! Say! JUMP originally debuted with ten members, the largest group in Johnny's history. In 2011, Ryutaro Morimoto was indefinitely suspended from the group following an underage smoking scandal. On April 11, 2021, Keito Okamoto announced that he would be leaving the group to pursue a career in acting but remained under Johnny & Associates. Website: https://www.j-storm.co.jp/s/js/artist/J0007?ima=0000 Who are on the second and third position that might steal the throne? On the second and third position, we have 2 new songs on the billboard as well, which make them my highlight this week. 2nd position Kenshi Yonezu "M87" was the leader last week. This week is on the second position still burning with strength, since last week was the first week of the release, the numbers of the physical albums start to decrease. However, probably due to the hit of the movie "Shin Ultraman" used as the theme song, sales of 19,726 DL this week were 2nd for download, 5th for streaming with 6,180,534 playbacks, 2nd for video playback, and 3rd for radio. • Billboard Japan Hot100 Charts (25 MAY 2022) – New songs only edition - Japan music charts

The Billboard Japan Hot 100 is a music chart that ranks the best-selling songs in Japan. It is published by Billboard magazine, and a new chart is compiled and published every Thursday. The chart is based on sales of physical singles and digital downloads. These doesn’t mean music outside of Japan stays out of Japan Billboard, very much the opposite. Although the American music industry has always been a dominant presence in global popular culture, Japanese music has been steadily gaining attention in recent years. J-pop and J-rock are two genres of Japanese music that have become increasingly popular outside of Japan. J-pop has been successful in Korea, Latin America, and Southeast Asia. While the rise in popularity of Japanese music can be partially attributed to the spread of globalization and the internet, there are also specific elements of these genres that have made them appealing to listeners. However, I only focus on Japan’s artists and songs, even If I enjoy S-Korean music from artists like Ailee and Song Ji Eun. Maybe in the Future who knows! Because Japanese Music is not only Jpop, but it also has all kind of genres. This week, the Japan Billboard has brought us 10 new Japan songs to the charts. It's not a competition or about making money, but rather about artistic freedom and awareness for a healthy music industry. Position 3 It is a former boyfriend ( 元カレです ) - AKB48 The AKB48 has 5 teams - Team A, Team K, Team B, Team 4 and Team 8. the group consists of 98 members, divided among several teams: Team A with 20 members, Team K with 20 members, Team B with 21 members, and Team 4 with 25 members, Team 8 with 42 members, the last of which have 30 members serving concurrently with other AKB48 teams. Akihabara is the district of Tokyo where the AKB48 theatre has been located since the group debuted in 2015. A common abbreviation for "Akihabara" in Japanese is "Akiba", and taking the first letter of each syllable you get: A, K B. The names of the other groups arose in a similar fashion. In the beginning, it had 16 members per team, 3 teams in total ( 16 plus 3 = 48), that work in rotation in the theatre, where they performed daily. By rotating, the teams had enough time to rest before the next performance. But as you can see the number 48 meaning lost its importance. AKB48 has sisters-groups as I mentioned before, one of them is Nogizaka46. But there are many others across Asia : SKE48: Sakae, Japan. Known for being good dancers. Sometimes called "S Gay E 48" because of the lesbian undertones in some of their songs. NMB48: Namba, Japan. Known for being interesting on variety shows. HKT48: Hakata, Japan. Originally the youngest group, but NGT is now the youngest. NGT48: Niigata, Japan (new group) Keyakizaka46: ???, Japan (new group, sister group of Nogi46) JKT48: Jakarta, Indonesia (international group, sings in Indonesian and English). Very popular in their country, to my knowledge. SNH48: Shanghai, China (international group, sings in Mandarin Chinese). Not very popular in their country, to my knowledge. They have a ton of sponsorships, though. Position 61 Rhyme ( 韻波句徒) - CHEHON A big tune with a unique flow created by sticking to the skill of "speaking while rhyming" since holding the microphone in the early 2000s, and recording the early representative song "Midori", the first mini with the same name as his own name. It was in 2006 that the album was released to the world. He travelled the world and gained a reputation for his unique perspective. In recent years, he has participated in many MC battles, starting with his appearance in the Freestyle Dungeon. His years of experience and unique style of self-sampling and fighting his own songs has made him a force to be reckoned with in new scenes. • Ultraman leads the music - Japan Billboard (week 21/52) Japan Music charts review

The original Ultraman appeared on the same decade as the men landed on the moon. Yes! Is that old! Also, a very good symbol of the Japanese pop culture before there as a sailor moon. The theme song of the movie "Shin Ultraman", "M 87", recorded two crowns in the first place in download and lookup. Single 2nd place, streaming 4th place, radio 2nd place, video playback 3rd place, Twitter 6th place, marking high points in each index, won the first place. Why does Ultraman song call M87? On the original series and story, Ultraman comes from Galaxy M78. As the story was told throughout the years, the Ultraman also evolve. To be honest, Ultraman is like a Family or community name. There are Ultraman king, Ultraman with many second names like Ultraman 80 or Ultraman Saga. M87 is also refer to the light sword, or beam energy sword. Official music video: M87 (M八七) - Kenshi Yonezu (米津玄師 ) A little of the lyrics: “Because the distant star shined so bright I trembled as I ran after its light In a cracked mirror, I stared at a reflection of my past self I wanted to be strong, in awe of everything You looked up at a hat fluttering in the wind As you went on a long and short journey Traces of bygone days If you so wish, he’ll come to your aide with everything he has For now, fear nothing and be the only one to understand the meaning of pain A flower about to wilt said its last words to me “Though you may no longer see me, I’ll watch over you from afar” “ Personal Japan billboard Review: I Have to say the music is not Different from what we hear from Kenshi Yonezu! This is the perfect is not a surprise but is not bad either. On the second and third position, we have 2 new songs on the billboard as well, which make them my highlight this week. 2nd position Bye-Good-Bye -- BE: FIRST “BE: FIRST's "Bye-Good-Bye" recorded 2nd place on radio and Twitter, 2nd place on video playback, 3rd place on single, download, streaming, and lookup, and 2nd place overall. This song, which has been in the 100th place for 11 weeks since the top of the chart released on March 16th, will be added points for singles and lookup indicators with the release of the single, and from the 41st place in the previous week in the 11th week. “Billboard-Japan Be:First is a 7 member Jpop group under and produced by BMSG. They were formed through the audition program BSMG AUDITION – THE FIRST 21, along 231 aspiring stars. They released 2 pre debut singles, and they officially debuted on November 3, 2021, with the single album ‘Gifted’. The group's motto: "Reach the top, but don't kick others down". On YouTube, the licensing was done by AVEX INC, on behalf of the main company B-me, which is the short version of BMSG. This happens because B-ME was co-founded by AVEX. <BE:FIRST SNS> Official Website:https://befirst.tokyo/ Twitter : https://twitter.com/BEFIRSTofficial Instagram : https://www.instagram.com/befirst__official/ Facebook : https://www.facebook.com/BEFIRSTofficial TikTok : https://vt.tiktok.com/ZSJnapbvM/ YouTube Channel : https://www.youtube.com/c/BEFIRSTOfficial 3rd position "It's a former boyfriend" (元カレです) - AKB48 “AKB48's "Motokaredesu", the 59th major single lead song, recorded the 1st single with 418,710 sales in the first week, but it was 7th in lookup, 9th in Twitter, 18th in radio, and 52nd in download. “ Billboard-Japan This seems to be a little different from the previous styles?! What are they trying to do ? The AKB48 has 5 teams - Team A, Team K, Team B, Team 4 and Team 8. the group consists of 98 members, divided among several teams: Team A with 20 members, Team K with 20 members, Team B with 21 members, and Team 4 with 25 members, Team 8 with 42 members, the last of which have 30 members serving concurrently with other AKB48 teams.
