Mr. Housekeeper has a theme song - Japan Billboard (week 22/52) Japan Music charts review

From the Japanese Drama「Mr. Housekeeper, Mitazono (Kaseifu no Mitazono) season 5」, the theme song “a r e a “played by Hey! Say! JUMP is the new Japan billboard hot 100 leader.

The original plot from the drama:

Mitazono Kaoru is a housekeeper who excels at his job, impressing both his clients and boss. However, what they don't know is that Mitazono is using his position to learn all the family's secrets. He then uses this information to break up relationships and tear the family apart. While this may seem cold, it's the push the family needs to start fresh and solve their underlying problems.

“Hey! Say! JUMP's first triple A-side single title song "area" sold 232,265 copies in the first week and was number one in the single and number one in the lookup. Other indicators were 16th on Twitter and 100th on the radio, with physical points as the main axis and taking the lead overall. The first week sales of the previous work "Sing-along" was 200,355, and this time it is about 30,000 more.” Billboard Japan

Hey! Say! JUMP - a r e a

A little of the lyrics:

“I can't hide my confusion, I can't hide my feelings of leaning,

and I can't escape from the ideals created by the times.

Fragments of contradiction (you)

Don't pick it up anymore (more)

Just go on the path you've decided on

Even in the headwind

If you turn around in this changing world, you should be able to see

the tears shed by a small, closed area ...”

Personal Japan billboard Review:

I wish I could say I enjoy it, But I didn’t!

Video and music seem too generic and there is a lack of feeling storytelling behind the concept of this music. There is almost no dance. The only movement most do is touch the head or facial and slowly point to the camera. In 2 words: too format. There is no identity visible. Unlike previous works this year. This is the worst! Like they were forced to do it.

In my opinion would have been better with more remix … maybe! All I know I felt nothing in the song.

I feel there will be at least 20 positions to fall next week. Or in other words a big free fall!

Who are Hey! Say! JUMP?

Like many coming from Jstorm, they do not have any information on their group page and even the group page doesn’t have their own domain.

Hey! Say! JUMP is an eight-member Japanese boy band under the Japanese talent agency Johnny & Associates. The group is split into two sub-groups: Hey! Say! BEST and Hey! Say! 7. In Japan they sold more than 10 million physical copies.

During a KAT-TUN spring concert on April 3, 2007, Yuya Takaki, Daiki Arioka, Ryosuke Yamada, Yuto Nakajima and Yuri Chinen were announced to become part of a temporary group called Hey! Say! 7. The name refers to the Heisei period during which all members were born, as well as to the year 2007 as the group's formation year.

On September 24, the five members of Hey! Say! 7 were joined by Kota Yabu, Kei Inoo, Hikaru Yaotome, Keito Okamoto and Ryutaro Morimoto, all represented by Johnny's Jr's. The ten-member group was organized into two sub-groups of five, with the older members forming Hey! Say! BEST and the younger members in Hey! Say! 7

Hey! Say! JUMP originally debuted with ten members, the largest group in Johnny's history. In 2011, Ryutaro Morimoto was indefinitely suspended from the group following an underage smoking scandal. On April 11, 2021, Keito Okamoto announced that he would be leaving the group to pursue a career in acting but remained under Johnny & Associates.

Who are on the second and third position that might steal the throne?

On the second and third position, we have 2 new songs on the billboard as well, which make them my highlight this week.

2nd position

Kenshi Yonezu "M87" was the leader last week. This week is on the second position still burning with strength, since last week was the first week of the release, the numbers of the physical albums start to decrease. However, probably due to the hit of the movie "Shin Ultraman" used as the theme song, sales of 19,726 DL this week were 2nd for download, 5th for streaming with 6,180,534 playbacks, 2nd for video playback, and 3rd for radio.

Born March 10, 1991, in Tokushima Prefecture, also known as Hachi in many released works.

From 2009, he started posting original songs to Nico Nico Douga and released works such as "Matryoshka", "Panda Hero", and "Yuinde Kaiite Rasetsu Toku". In the VOCALOID scene, he has an outstanding track record of opening a presence with addictive rock sound and attracting attention from all over the world, In addition, he also worked on illustrations and videos himself, and released two albums "Hanataba to Suisou" and "OFFICIAL ORANGE" in 2010.

3rd position

[mixed nuts] by Official Hige Dandism ( Official髭男dism).

The band was formed in 2012. Their first album was released in 2015 making their debut that same year. In April 2018, he made his major debut with Major 1st Single "No Doubt".

With music rooted in various genres, including black music, it continues to gain support from all generations.

Since the members are all responsible for the creative work, there is no group leader position.
